Andrew Lindner is managing partner of Frontier Capital, a Charlotte-based growth equity firm focused exclusively on software and technology-enabled business services companies. He co-founded the business in 1999 to partner with management teams that can benefit from capital to accelerate growth, fund acquisitions or generate shareholder liquidity. Andrew’s primary focus is on the firm’s SaaS and healthcare information technology services investment activities. He currently serves on the board of directors for Frontier portfolio companies Viverae, PlanetRisk and Tango, and has previously held similar roles for more than a half dozen other companies. A graduate of the University of Texas with an MBA from Stanford University, Andrew’s career includes working in the investment banking division for Bank America and for Atlanta-based investment bank Stephens Inc. He is also active in the community, serving on the board of the Children’s Scholarship Fund of Charlotte and as co-chair of the Charlotte Heptathlon, a seven-event corporate athletic competition designed to raise money for the scholarship fund. Frontier Capital makes minority and majority equity investments in high growth companies and has built an excellent track record of delivering returns to both investors and management partners.
